If you’re looking for a place to shoot indoors during Winter, or to practice during Summer, Auckland has a variety of options regarding indoor shooting.
Note: you must be an active full member of an ADAA member club to use these facilities, so make sure that you are up to date with your membership.
Permanent Indoor Range
Mountain Green Archery Club has an indoor archery range located at 149-155 Royal Road, Massey. This range is available for private shooting all year round. Members of ADAA clubs may purchase an access key for one year. Costs and full details are available on their website.
Groups may also hire this range – for example if you need it for an event, or for a place for your youth to shoot once a week if the weather is off. Costs available on the website:

Other Indoor ranges:
Auckland Archery Club in One Tree Hill Maungakiekie Domain has an indoor facility which is available for club members only. Please enquire with them if you are able to shoot there as they have specific safety rules regarding shooting inside.
Franklin Archery Club has an indoor venue on Thursday evenings, located at the Massey Hall, inside the A&P Show Grounds Pukekohe. They have different sessions at different times to accommodate different skill sets and more information can be found on their website: https://www.franklincountyarchers.com/indoor-range.
Mount Tiger Archery in Whangarei has indoor facilities in Whangarei High School on Mondays and Wednesdays. Please visit https://www.mttigerarchery.co.nz/indoor.html for more information.
Indoor Competitions
The ADAA hosts a district-wide Indoor Tournament (World Archery rules) once a year, hosted kindly by the Mountain Green Indoor Range. This is usually held one month before the Archery NZ National Indoor Championships in July. Any ADAA member may shoot this. Details are on our Upcoming Events page.
If you wish to host an indoor competition of your own, either IFAA or WA-based, please let us know the dates and we can advertise for free to all ADAA clubs and on this website.
