Results are in for the youth archery monthly shoot for September 2022! The shoot for September was called the “Wild Duck” and featured a field duck target at 18m and below.
It’s not an easy one – field targets are generally quite a lot smaller than you’d think, and the scoring zones were smaller still, with 6 points for the heart zone, 5 for the lung (outer heart) and 4 for the body. With a maximum score of 216, there were some enterprising archers who did manage to get quite close!
All in all it was a difficult shoot but lots of fun.
